Dr. Morgan Nicole Bosch was born in Westlake, Ohio. That is where her first love of horses started. She was funny and kind hearted with a passion for animals. She attended University of Findlay for her undergraduate and received her DVM at Ohio State University. After receiving her doctorate, she traveled to Sparta, North Carolina. Where she worked as a vet for two years before starting with Advanced Equine Dentistry in Florida. Everyone enjoyed being around her fun and enthusiastic personality. Dr. Morgan Nicole Bosch-Dombrowski DVM, 31, of Brooksville passed away peacefully with her loving family surrounding her on November, 15 2021.
Applicants must be graduating high school seniors, or currently enrolled in a post secondary school. Applicants must plan to attend a two (2)-year community college or four (4)-year college, university or trade school and major in coursework related animals.
One (1), $1,000 scholarship will be awarded May 2023 . All applications must be submitted by May, 10th, 2023 for consideration.
Applicants can apply for an assistance grant to aid in paying for their animals medical bills. Grant amounts will vary based upon need and availability. This grant is available to both livestock and companion animals.
The scholarship winner was chosen by a panel of LBFS representatives and Dr.Morgan’s family. This winner was a unanimous vote. We were all blown away by her many hour of community service and accomplishments. The 2022 winner of the Dr. Morgan scholarship is Kathryn Healy. Kathryn plans on pursuing a degree in Veterinary Medicine.
